Learning A-B-C and other things

Okay, I wasn't going to post this seeing as I cannot make it appear right side up. I figured my friends who post videos may have some advice for me. I cannot get the videos off my new camera to post with the correct orientation even when shot in the correct orientation and when saved that way. I use QuickTime and my old Kodak Easy Share did just fine. Any advice would be most appreciated.
