Grasses bent with weight,
Chickadees bathing in snow,
October morning.

You have snow?!!!??!!
I am so jealous. It was an unseasonable 79 degrees here today, and while I was wandering around sweating (melting, really,) all the Maine-iacs kept saying things like, "Oh isn't this lovely. Hope it stays this way until January..."
Beautiful photos :)

Wow, you have snow already in October, well you do live in Alaska and I live in Minn
[southern part]. Ruthie's hat looks so good on you, you'll be the envy of all your neighbors.
Now for the mail tampering, that is a federal crime, can you report it to the post office, regional office? I hope it works for you, there is no excuse for that.

Forgot to mention it was 83 here today, we had to turn on the air conditioning, it was 80 in the house, very humid. I am a winter person enjoy the cold weather and the snow but by the end of April I'm ready to have the snow melt.

Oh, you are such a show-off.
It's going to be 92 tomorrow in lovely Cincy.
Dammit.

Please. I can't stand it. We are still dripping in sweat here - 90's over the weekend.

Dammit.

I'm sorry ladies, I would bottle it or can it and send it your way if I thought that would work.

You will not be envious of my snow in April, I am sure!

I forget that you live in the same town as me, but at a higher elevation...
Of course you already have snow. I am sort of ready for it down here, but I am enjoying these last few mountain bike rides.

Wow, Trixie, I gotta say that snow looks kinda pretty! Will it stay now for the rest of the winter, or is this just a brief preview?

Trish/Trixie --

I see the snow line is down to the top of your little mountain. I hope Mom likes it -- she can see from SGN how it is back home.

We were sweating & getting sunburned Saturday in Youngstown at a marching band competition. A little snow would have been nice -- I stress, a LITTLE snow.
