Sick Haus

It is a good thing that the Arctic Winter Games qualifier for biathlon was cancelled due to no snow this weekend. Zoey has an infection in both ears and irritated lungs. Vivi has a horrible infection in her throat. The same goes for Tom. He has no voice. It makes controlling a classroom difficult. As of this morning I am the only family member not on an anti-biotic. Sigh...I am exhausted.

I think between the three week long plague and the fender-bender doctor's visits, I may just write off November. I am ready for everyone to be healthy and happy and popping right along. It would be a nice change from hacking and sneezing and crankiness.

I'm wishing you clear voices and no more meds! There is a virus spreading here, too, Trixie. I've cranked up my intake of vitamin C and hope for the best.

Vivi looks cute even when she feels rotten.

I wouldn't brag about being the only one not sick. You might just jinx yourself. :)

Aw Trixie, poor little Vivi looks so miserable! I hope you don't get it too and everyone else gets better soon.

It's too bad that all your snow has melted already--there was so much on your moose pictures! Will the Winter Games qualifier be re-scheduled?

Mary -- Thanks! I think she is pretty cute even when pathetic.

Bill -- We are working on all getting better. And I AM allowed to bellyache.

Dave -- Oh, I have been dealing with the plague, just not to the point of needing anti-biotics.

Ruthie -- They have re-scheduled for December 9th. The only problem is that we have no new snow in the forecast. I am wondering if they will be moving it to Fairbanks. We shall see.

Hey Trixie: Hope your family is soon on the mend without infecting you too badly. Vivi sure is a cutie, even when she's ill.

Lorelei has just gotten over a nasty ear infection (again!) and now Isabelle is getting over one. She was actually at the urgent care center yesterday. And now, gunk is draining from her ears. Eew.

Get better up there, all your varmints!
