Smokin'

It's been a while since I posted a volcano shot. So, here is Mt. Iliamna backlit this afternoon, a nice coda on a busy, busy day. We were lucky enough to catch this lovely sunset from the end of the drive way as we came home. It was letting off a little steam. According to the Alaska Volcano Observatory there is no change in that status of Mt. Iliamna.

Now I am off to make White Lightning Chili. Yum!

How cool! Never seen a Volcano before (in real life) and I bet that is neat to see it smoking like that! But also good that their are no worries with it smoking!

So beautiful! I'm glad you had your camera along for this shot.

This looks like perfect chili weather.

Is that the mountain that is supposed to look like a sleeping woman?
'Cause someone needs to put out her hip!

I've told people I know that one of my blogging friends has the view of an active volcano from her house. They didn't believe me.

Wow! Beautiful scene.

Great color!I can see how that would inspire you to make chili.

Trish -- Show off! We just have hills, but very nice hills.

Re the cats in sweaters, I must admit to being in the Jay Leno school of thought there...no way!

SGN, Mt. Susitna is the Sleeping Lady.
