Brrrrrrrr...

Squint really hard and you can see that my spiffy after-market thermometer reads -19F. Yup, that is correct. That was the temperature in Eagle River when I took my girls to Pepere's. It has been getting highs at the house of -2F for about a week. Hot water bottles are a must to go to bed.

Can you id what is making this super highway in my yard. They like the suet dough, too.

Here is the white wine-sicle. Yummm...

The girls with Cojo at the Burtner's yesterday. Judy's wood stove was the center of activity....or inactivity.

Brrr! That's really too cold! I think we're supposed to dip down into the below zero temps again this weekend (we've had highs in the 20s this last week). I'll bet that sounds balmy to you. Are those moose tracks? What a cool thing to have moose visit your yard. Try and stay warm up there!

Yikes. That's cold. I was born in the northern center of Montana so I know from cold but there's a reason that I live in Santa Cruz now. I'm a whimp! Brrrrr!

I will not tell you what temp it is here today. But I will tell you that our woodstove is superfluous today. :)

I'm leaving your picture of the wood stove on my monitor. It makes me feel a little warmer. :)

FRIGID! You must walk around with a blanket wrapped around you. Your photos look frigid. Brrrrrrr.

The girls look comfy, though :o)

Your folks sure get some cold weather up in Alaska. It's been rather mild lately in PA but the weather is changing tonight. I have a stove much like Judy's and I will have it burning tomorrow for sure. Stay warm!

Ahh-- nothing like a nice warm wood fire on a cold day.
