Oh, Trixie. I've been enjoying your blog for a while but I didn't know Tucker... I've lost several cats in my lifetime and it was always a hard time for me. Cats live a long life and are good friends. The purring against your neck and the beloved head bumps are sorely missed when they're gone. May he rest in peace.
I'm sorry to hear about ole' Tucker. But to paraphrase what a wise 4-year-old told me when little Gracie died, "If you think about him or talk about it him, it's almost like he's there with you. A spirit cat."

Having recently lost my beloved Lab to cancer, I know what your going through. Pets are such are cherished members of our families.
